FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN IS THE HARTWOOD MUSIC FESTIVAL?
The Hartwood Music Festival runs over the Easter long weekend, 7 - 9 April 2023.
However there are many activities in the lead up to the weekend, and many people choose to arrive early to make the most of their stay.
Gates open for early bird arrivals on Monday, March 27 at 8am.
Please note that there is a fee of $10 per vehicle, per day for those arriving between Monday March 27 and Sunday April 2. This is per vehicle, not per person.
'Walk Ups' commence on Saturday April at 10am - 1pm and at 6.30pm at the Campfire Stage.
Main artists commence Friday April 7.
HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?
Tickets can be purchased and paid for on this website using a credit card or Pay Pal.
You do not need to have a Pay Pal account to purchase tickets through this website.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate, on the day of the event, however there are no EFTPOS facilities on-site.
Those who purchase and pay for their tickets online, in advance, have a chance to win FREE ENTRY to the 2024 Festival!
WHAT IS THE COST?
Entry fee is $130 per person, which includes all entertainment and camping during the event.
Camping prior to Monday April 3 incurs a charge of $10 per vehicle per day.
Day passes are available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The cost of a day pass is $30 per person, per day.
Day passes are not available for purchase on this website, day passes can be purchased at the event.
Children under 16 years receive free admission.

WHAT FACILITIES ARE ON-SITE?
Food stalls will be operating over the main weekend.
Coolah Bakery will be delivering freshly baked products from Monday April through to Sunday April 9.
Collect your own firewood throughout the property
Drinkable bore water
No Power
No Showers
Toilets and dump point facilities are available
Disabled toilets are situated in the main stage areas
Generators may be used between 7.30am and 9pm

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL ON-SITE?
Yes, this is a BYO event. No alcohol is sold on the grounds.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Yes, Dogs are welcome, however must be kept on a leash at all times and are not permitted in food serving areas.
WHEN DO WE NEED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY?
Gates close Tuesday April 11 at 3pm
HOW DO WE GET TO HARTWOOD?
Hartwood is located approximately 160 kilometres south west of Tamworth NSW.
The turn off to Hartwood is located on the western side of Black Stump Way, 20 kilometres south of Tambar Springs, or 43 kilometres north of Coolah.
It is approximately 4 kilometres from Black Stump Way to the Hartwood Festival Site.
In the weeks leading up to Easter there are many signs advertising the approaching turn off, so whether you are traveling from the north or south, you should have no trouble finding your way.
